Microcrystalline Calcium Hydroxyapatite Compound, or MCHC, is a "bone-building" supplement with that may have superior absorption in comparison to calcium. Because it contains all the minerals naturally occurring in healthy bone in the right proportions, along with the other active and supportive constituents of bone, MCHC makes a comprehensive bone support supplement. Calcium is a mineral involved in many different functions of the body, and MCHC is a concentrate of whole bone. As such, MCHC contains calcium, but calcium is only one of many different components necessary to help build and maintain strong bones.
